I’m Hussnain Mustafa, and I built ToolCalcPro because every time I needed a quick number — concrete for a slab, tax on a Texas property, a Coast FIRE target — I ended up on calculator sites that gave me one big number with no math behind it. No formula shown, no inputs to tweak, no way to tell which assumption changed the answer. So I built the version I wanted.

What this site is

200+ free calculators across nine categories: finance, construction, garden, home interior, animals and lifestyle, health, math and science, and real estate. Every tool shows the formula it used, itemizes the inputs, and lets you change any line. No signup, no email gate, no paywall.

How I keep the numbers right

Every calculator is built from a stated source.

  • State and federal tax tools pull rates from the IRS and each state’s department of revenue site
  • Construction cost calculators reference current contractor estimating guides and regional supplier rate sheets (RSMeans, HomeAdvisor benchmarks, county-level pricing surveys)
  • Math, statistics, and science calculators follow the standard textbook formula, cited in the explainer below the tool

Update cadence

Jurisdictional calculators — state tax, property tax, paychecks, capital gains — get reviewed every quarter, with full rebuilds in January and July when most rate changes take effect. Construction cost calculators get a unit-price refresh twice a year. Math and science formulas don’t drift, so those get updated only when a reader spots an error.

Who reviews the work

I do, personally. For finance and tax tools, I cross-check results against the IRS and state calculators where they exist. For construction tools, I sense-check against published estimating guides. If a number looks wrong, the contact email is on every page and the calculator gets a same-week review.

What these tools are not

Estimates. Not filings, not contracts. The disclaimer puts it more formally: bring real numbers to a CPA, attorney, or contractor for the final word. ToolCalcPro is the math that gets you ready for that conversation.
